We’re very excited to have been chosen to accessorize the fashion spread in the latest Williamsburg Greenpoint News+Arts issue. This seven page article promotes shopping locally, featuring designers and shops in Williamsburg and Greenpoint. This newspaper is free at select shops and cafes around the neighborhood. Thanks WG News!
We dropped by Bushwick today to check out Beta Spaces, an alternative art festival where you can visit studios and see a wide range of local art installations. I think these bedazzled shoes on a telephone line may have been my favorite.
I think I’m in love with this bicycle. Thomas Callahan of Horse Cycles built this for his mother at his shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He custom-crafts each bike to the user’s specifications and body size. They are really breathtaking.
I’ve just completed my first couple of reMade home accessories. So far, I have leather scrap patchwork throw pillows and cube ottomans. I’m so happy with the result that I’m keeping my samples on display in my home.
The studios in Dobbin Mews will be open for an evening of shopping, flowers, and wine… plus a chance to see where we all work. Participating studios are: reMade USA bags, Odette NY jewelry, Wiksten handmade clothes, Fay Andrada handmade jewelry, Nicolette Camille floral design and Judith Trezza gilding.
I’ve found an amazing studio space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, right next to McCarren park. The studio is in a beautiful space owned by artists and filled with vibrant, creative energy. My neighbors include Odette NY jewelry, Wiksten handmade clothes, Fay Andrada handmade jewelry, Nicolette Camille floral design.
